i'm suffering majorly from the aftermath of Melbourne & Easter Camp 2006.
ironically i wasn't looking forward to camp at all, considering the number of people i actually knew before going for camp were countable on one hand. but i've been so blessed this yr with a super super cg that gelled together really well. each one has touched my life in different ways & i really miss them. i quite wish they were my permanent cg. but of cuz that's not possible.
i went to camp with negativity, with disillusion, with the thought of 'this is a waste of time'. & yes i came home refreshed, renewed & my passion for God reignited. He answered my prayers, & comforted my fears of being in sydney, seemingly all alone. but He assured me that the plan for my future stays on track, & I have nothing to fear for He is there. Right now i know what i have to do, & my mission this coming month is to find the right church to settle into. Hillsong has been gd in some ways, as in, their worship is really gd (obviously) but the sermons haven't been that great, & i haven't really understood much of what i've heard. however, that aside, the mission to actually find somewhere to settle in is going to be a battle of its own, since i don't really know many christians here except Pamela who goes to this small church which is pretty traditional & hence not quite my type.
whatever happens i hope i can push myself to stay focused on Him & be sensitive to His Spirit & not let my sch work run my life. i want to be His light in my course, the one to bring His word to my coursemates.
