i'm back!part 2

ok so sat morning after that 'event' wif answering qns.. hehe.. den we settled into more workshops learning abt the Chinese culture & language & religion in Kunming.. i guess the culture part & language wasn't really quite new to me.. after all i AM chinese & went thru 10yrs of mandarin classes in Spore's education system.. but religion part i did learn some stuff. Ps Yeow Sun shared wif us that the pple in Kunming were mainly Buddhists, Taoists, Confucious followers & even Muslims! such a diverse range of beliefs are present there.. & some minority faiths too.. there aren't many Christians (obviously =p) but they do hve churches-Catholic, Protestant & those set up by the 3-self church (govt ones).

btw, i found out smtg new abt ehem! hahaa

after lunch we had a time of sharing in the team.. & we like talked abt our ministry experiences & our strengths & weaknesses.. i dun like to talk abt such stuff lor.. hai.. den when we had to talk abt strengths, honestly i dun feel like i've got any.. =( but still hve to say rite? so i just erm.. well super paiseh lor.. i said i dunno & dint tink i got any.. so the others helped come up wif stuff la.. hehe.. make me feel good oni.. =) but i tink after this wkend, our team's dynamics hve really been established, & i can foresee tt we can & will work together. =) love them oredi!

ohh smtg else that was really nice & sweet happened to me also.. i was feeling really tired & had a splitting headache after the arft workshops.. so i decided i shan't have dinner & shall just take a nap. so i told Jing tt i dint want to eat & went to bed. den she came to wake me abt 15mins to the end of dinner to tell me tt they kept dinner for me. so nice rite! so i was like aiya so paiseh.. so i took a quick shower & rushed down to the dining rm. budden everyone was leaving for the hall oredi, so i told Penny i dint hve to eat cuz i was not hungry. but she say tt better eat cuz later no more meal time oredi.. so ok la i went to the kitchen to get my food. den the kitchen auntie so nice to me! she warmed up my food for me & even sat down next to me & asked me if i was feeling better. *cuz Jing had told her tt i was hvg a headache & would eat later* gosh.. she's such a nice & sweet & kind little old lady! & even Jing & Siew Min sat down wif me thru my dinner to wait for me.. i felt so so so so bad tt i was making so much trouble. =/ but they were so nice abt it. *warm feeling in the heart* hehe =)

sunday morn we had a speaker on spiritual warfare. every mission team will face spiritual warfare, but perhaps the way the enemy will work will be different.. it could be obvious attacks, or could even be devious, cunning, unobvious ones.. we need to be united & pray together for God's protection & help. i guess its relevant for all situations too, be it in a mission journey or even in our everyday life.. cuz satan attacks at every possible opportunity rite? the speaker told us to have faith & hang in there & rely on the Word of God & our testimony to fight back, cuz we are already covered in the protection of the blood of Jesus.. as long as we stand firm in our faith, nothing can harm us! =)

Leeming also came to share wif us on Journaling. She flew in frm Spore on hols now i tink.. & shared wif us on her past trips to Thailand & how impt journaling the trip is not only for ur own walk wif God, but also as a reflection for the whole team..
