Royal Melbourne Show '04

went to the Royal Melb Show today with Su & Eve. ok i spent Quite alot there i must admit.. i got 1 Girlfriend showbag ($10), 1 Arnotts showbag (cost $6, shared with Su, paid $4), 1 Lizzie McGuire showbag for my cousin Janice( $16.50) and a Hot Wheels showbag($16.50) for Jonnie.. hmm ok so lets do the math: i spent a total of $47 on showbags alone! & there's more to add to that figure..

we played a few games: first game was a darts one that the uncle there promised us we could all win the big spongebob toy if any of us shot the dart at the yellow star right in the middle. & that game cost us $5 each. but oh well.. none of us managed it, thou su was the closest at the edge of the star. so we all got off wif small spongebob toys instead. den we went to the numbers game. & guess what! i paid $2 for a peel-off kinda card that revealed combinations of numbers, & i won one combination! hee.. so i got a Huge Spongebob Squarepants as a prize. =D ok, i must say.. i dint really think spongebob was that Cute a character.. but the huge toy did look really cute hehe.. but i felt abit bad cuz su really wanted him more den me.. so i tried to pick the card thingy again.. but no luck.. su & eve tried a few times too.. but ntg.. sigh.. i guess luck oni happens once.. can't push it. ok. so spent $4 at the numbers game.

den wat else? hmm oh on our way out su spotted the cow soft toy that i really wanted. its so cute leh.. got hearts all over the tummy part of the cow. we first saw it this yr at Moomba Festival but at tt time no more liao. but the game to win it was so hard sigh.. it was the 'throw the ball into the bucket' kinda game.. i paid for the first round ($5) & eve managed to get 1 ball in.. but we needed 2 to win.. sigh.. den su & eve tried again for me.. but no luck.. =( oh well.. nvm.. there'll always b other chances to win the cow hehe.. can always try at next yr's moomba.

ok so how much did i spend in total? hmm lets see, including money spent on food & tram & entry tix: 47+4+5+7.50+4+5.80+15=88.30! doesn't seem like wat i expected thou.. it feels like i spent more den 100 bucks.. perhaps i've got unaccounted money spent somewhere..

okok why am i harping on money? sigh.. i'm becoming too materialistic man.. crap. the most impt thing is that i had FUN! & the time spent was well worth it hehee.. ohh shall upload the pix of me & spongebob when i get it frm Su! =)
