Fasting-Ended

Ok, i officially ended my 40hrs today at 12pm.. *happy* felt v accomplished tt i managed to pull through w/o quiting, thou i have to admit that i did feel like giving up so many times when the hunger pangs were becoming unbearable..

went to AOG in the morning today, impressed with myself that i managed to wake up early.. & go downstairs to wait 4 Chad & co. to pick me up.. BUT, apparently i was the only one who woke up on time.. cuz the others were all late, & so Chad came to my place late too.. but tis alrite, cuz we still made it to church in time for worship, missed the 1st song oni. =)

went for lunch at Ito after church.. Loretta was working today.. wa haven't seen her for such a long time! miss her..but cuz she was on duty dint really get to chat with her.. hmm i had Chashu Ramen to break my fast.. i knew i had to start eating slowly, or else i would get horrible gastric pains.. so i tried. i started with small sips of the soup, den slowly proceeded on to the noodles.. i dint manage to finish the bowl of noodles cuz by like half i was full.. BUT, my speed dint help my tummy's movements in any way.. =( still had gastric pains after that.. but they weren't HORRIBLE, just pain.. bearable pain..

gie & eve & lou went to get their haircuts after that.. they look nice! =) pretty much the same style, just neater hair now. except lou got a new funky style that she insists looks bad on her, thou everyone says she looks really good! hehe.. makes me want to get my hair cut too. but i dunno wat style to cut thou.. =/ so while they were in Soho getting their hair done.. i went shopping! hee.. went to Priceline to get my shampoo & soap.. den left via the collins st exit.. which lead me to Mooks! hehe. went in & couldn't stop myself from getting a cute Paul Frank t-shirt.. ok, i admit the price was abit steep for a simple, thou really cute print, T-shirt.. but well, i figured i needed to reward myself on a job well done (the fast) & also to get smtg new to wear on my bdae! i have a 'tradition' to wear smtg new every yr for my bdae, be it clothes or shoes or bag or smtg.. just has to be brand new.. =)

went to city church after that at 5pm.. as usual, it was an awesome service. really happy to be back in my church.. missed it so much cuz i dint go for the last 3 wks.. =/ shall make it a point to go there everywk from now on! =)
