High-cut Pants

u noe what! i think i finally understand y the 'older' generation, & some of the ehem.. not so fashionable 'current' generation people like to adopt the 'high-cut', sits-at-ur-waist (waisters? haha is there even such a word!?) style pants/jeans! heehe

ok, obviously i belong to the 'cooler', more 'fashionable', 'current style' generation of low-cut, hipsters.. haha! sorry if i sound so BHB! =p but ya so i wear hipsters-so what? BUT the major problem with them is when they're not sitting snug on ur hips, such that when u bend over or sit down or climb the stairs with ur back bent over, ur Butt Crack can be seen.. *scandalous dodgy look*

ok so i went to safeway wif my aunt yesterday & we bought a ton of groceries. & cuz she can't carry v much heavy stuff, i ended up having to lug most of the bags up the stairs that leads frm the carpark to the first floor lifts. & yes, i was wearing my hipster jeans.. so with arms leaden with heavy groceries, i was making my way up the stairs when i felt my jeans slipping down slowly, threatening to flash my underwear/butt crack.. crap rite! thank goodness it's just my aunt behind me.. not some stranger, or else it'll b even more paiseh.. luckily i dint flash anything more then just 'skin' on my lower back.. my jeans dint slip too low hehe..

its getting pretty normal in today's society to show abit of 'skin', but forgive me in this aspect that i'm kinda old-fashioned abt that.. sometimes i feel kinda paiseh when i sit down & i'm showing too much skin.. so it makes me self-conscious, uncomfortable & the urge to check if i'm flashing too much always arises. so i keep adjusting my jacket to cover myself, pulling up my jeans b4 sitting down, & just constantly checking to make sure that nothing 'too much' is showing. erm.. but how much is too much? dunno- that's another topic of debate..

which brings me to the thought that perhaps high-cuts aren't all that bad? i mean, they def are practical & trusty- u don't have to ever worry of 'zao geng' i.e. flashing too much skin or ur undies! =D ok la but they are sure ugly & make ur body shape just look bad.. haha.. to those of you who wear high-cuts, sorry if i offend u.. but i do praise u for being a practical woman! =)
