tried to make egg tarts today using a recipe i found online... but it was such a sorry attempt.. =/
feel so cheated! i followed the instructions & mixed & did all the 'correct' things.. but my egg tarts came out looking & tasting like portugease egg tarts instead of the lovely chinese ones we eat when we go yam cha.. hmmm... budden the recipe did call itself 'Asian egg tarts'.. & well i SUPPOSE portugease egg tarts are somewhat similar to the asian kind.. sigh.. i dunno where it went wrong.. =/ the tarts came out looking really ugly so i didn't bother taking fotos.. hmm oh well nvm i shall attempt them again when i have time.. errr which will prob be during the hols.. & when i 'perfect' my egg tart recipe hehee i shall do a mass production! =D
